Senior Vice President of Finance – FL
South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union (SFEFCU), with assets in excess of
$1 billion, is excited to announce the search for a Senior Vice President of Finance. This
executive position will report directly to the President/CEO. The SVP of Finance will serve
as a key member of the organization’s leadership team and will be responsible for financial
planning, financial statement preparation, impact analysis, budget management, asset/liability
management, investment portfolio maintenance and regulatory compliance. This position
will strategically manage and lead the financial affairs of the organization and will work
collaboratively with credit union staff, auditors, vendors, and regulators. The SVP of Finance has
responsibility for planning, organizing, implementing, and ensuring all financial activities are in
accordance with regulatory requirements and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
This key management position will be responsible for a myriad of tactical and strategic projects
for the credit union. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience
with at least 5 years of experience in a senior management role with a financial institution with
assets in excess of $1 billion. CPA is required.
